The ALPSDIVIDE is a new bikepacking event launching in September 2024. As the name suggests it is a biklepacking event traversing the Alps off-road from the South to North.
In this video I run through the route and check out the event.

Very tempting as just closer
A ‘Tour’ version to be announced 👀
That looks really interesting, especially with all the WW2 history en route. I’d be stopping every few miles 🤣
Anyone have any idea what the weather might look like if one were to do this as a tour from around mid June to late July? Thanks!
Not sure if you've already answered this kind of question before but when did you think that you were ready for an ultra event / what kind of level of fitness do you consider the bare minimum? I.e being able to ride 150+ miles per day for 7 days for example
This looks amazing! Curious to get your input on races in North America. I was looking into The Accursed but the no fly requirement kinda rules me out… I'd be curious also to get your input on Lost Dot's Green Leaderboard iniative. I did the TPR this year and of course I didn't take the boat so I was not eligible coming from Canada. I get what they are trying to do and respect it. Heck, it's even making me reconsider local races, but i still want to ride in Europe, haha! Cheers mate!
