Cycling up and over the legendary Mount Nemrut in the Taurus mountains in the scorching heat of late June in Turkey was our toughest challenge yet. All along the way we enjoyed awe inspiring scenery, but that is nothing compared to what awaited us at the top!

    1. Your absolute best video yet. The climb had me experiencing phantom struggles with you, and the walking descent looked extremely difficult with fully packed bikes. You're both amazing! It's funny to think back to Mathias' climbs early in the tour. Ha! — I was concerned about your brakes for the descent from Mt. Nemrut, so was really pleased that you were able to hitch a ride to a well deserved rest. Wishing you cooler weather and tailwinds to Ani.

    2. Arev & Mathias, Wow, wow, wow! This was an absolutely amazing video! Penny and I loved it. We were groaning and suffering along with you. In fact, Penny thinks she had a calf cramp while watching. Amazing job, and the extended version video is fantastic. I can't wait to see what you might have in store for the Anzob Pass!!!

    3. Love it you two! Beautiful scenery, way to capture it even when it was SO HOT and so challenging. Watching y'all take your bike down all those stairs… oof.

    4. Hello nice people, thank you for sharing all these beautiful images!!
I think you should make a better crank set to climb easier and not suffering so much..
My girlfriend's bike has three Plato 22-36cassette on a 26wheel
And me one Plato 32-51cassette on 29wheel and works super good at the steepest mountains..
I love the shots with your drone!!
      Bonne courage!!!

    5. You guys are LEGENDS! Great job! I must say that I had a few laughs watching. I wasn't laughing at you.. I've been there myself. Your determination to get to the top is monumental. HUGE respect! ❤❤❤

    6. Hallo Arev and Matthias,

      All I can say is:
      😮 A M AZ I N G 😮
Your tour … the way you tell your story … your patience with the heat and steep inclines …
Looking forward to seeing your next episode.
      Liebe Grüße von

    7. You guys are amazing! ❤ Hence the name I guess😂. But seriously what an achievement you guys made. Congrats for making this extremely hard climb. I hope you enjoy your well deserved resting moment. But… don’t wait to long for your next episode😊
And above all, good luck and good health!🙏🏼

    8. Enjoyed the video very much.

In this video you increased the length of the video but you decreased the scope. It works great. You are climbing and climbing and we all feel the pain with you. And then you present us with this wonder of the world at the top that I have never heard of but should have. Makes you wonder how they got the statutes up there. Having experienced your climb on a bike with gears makes me ponder this question without you even asking.

      Thanks for sharing your experience

    9. I had a long, hot ride with plenty of black flies just like this. It was during last summer while bike-packing through Michigan's upper peninsula. It made a great story, and feel so inspired to see people out there doing it. Just found this channel and will definitely be sticking around. Keep pushing and keep posting!
