Finally, after about 120 days, my Triumph Bonneville returns!

I go through the timeline, all that was fixed on the bike, and head off to pick it up.

    1. I had a 2005 kawasaki KXF250 motocross bike that like your Bonny was in the garage for several months a few years back now! It needed a new lower crank case that had to be ordered from Japan.
It cost me nearly £2000 to fix and the bike was not worth that. I didn’t care I was so happy to have it back again.

    2. Hi Freddie, you have to understand the reason why Monika is so in love with THIS Suzuki: it is about the "baby factor"!
This model looks like the old legendary SUV Mercedes "G"- model but shrinked to a baby doll size, It´s so cuddly and cute to ring all bells of mothers instincts she simply can not resist.
But I am also truly impressed by the perfect to scale down sized dimensions of the "G -model" without losing this special bold look,

    3. Just to let you know that my Honda cb 500s which was bought new in 2001 and has been treated quite harshly has covered over 140,000 miles. It's on its original clutch, waterpump silencer and many more parts .

    4. I remember buying a motorcycle brand new from Suzuki and it had a custom exhaust pipe on. I went to MOT it a few years later and they said it wont pass with the pipe it came with and it should have come with a stock pipe in a box with it if it was brand new…… It then took me down this £1600 trip for a full new exhaust system as the valve had seized :/ I just decided to cut my losses and sell it for half of what I paid for it 🙁

    5. My mum had a Suzuki Jimny because she loved the look of it, I dunno why women love them. However it was so slow she got rid of it, I bet she's regretting selling it now seeing the price lol.

    6. That's actually a pretty good price for the job. I'm assuming they decked the head (flattened it)… Can't believe they ran out of head gaskets (although it is an older model). Let's all blame covid as usual and get on with it! Glad you are rolling again…
