Perched in a Northern mountainous village in Portugal, this house, once teeming with life, now sits eerily abandoned. Its foundation stone was laid in 1928, and it became the cherished home of the Perreira family.
Mr. Manuel, a doctor immersed in both medicine and politics, was the last to grace its rooms, a man who found solace in music’s embrace.
In 2015, Mr. Manuel passed away, and the house fell into desolation. Despite being inherited by two family members, they’ve turned their backs, leaving it prey to the unrelenting elements.

Today, we embark on a journey to uncover the remnants of the Perreira family and their once-vibrant abode, now a forsaken relic in this tiny Portuguese village. Dusty memories linger within its walls, and the echoes of laughter and music whisper through time, telling the story of a family’s life and love, left to fade into history.

    1. Hello hello!!! ❤🤴❤🤴
Well, simplicity is beauty. Everything simple is beautiful, and cute ☺️ Sometimes a tiny, simple, cute but cozy and warm home is 10 times better then a huge and luxurious but cold castle. At least, we can assume this family lived here a happy and peaceful life, i can just feel the feeling! Nothing can beat that traditional Portuguese kitchen! Always pretty but this one is the best! I loved it. It was for me the star of the show. And the other rooms are nice too. The house has beautiful ceilings and cool stuff left inside. Love the house and the green space serrounding it, and it looks big from above btw 😮 Thanks guys for another great and sweet mini explore, i enjoyed it. Until next time, bye! 😘😘😘

    2. Hola Maureno y Remon !! ❤

    4. Very beautiful home, feel like going back in time, antique furniture with woodworking very good quality and beautiful I also love the ceiling of this place very beautiful. Thank you for sharing, very interesting indeed

    5. Hey dear Maureno, thank you for sharing this amazing explore video you were doing together with Remon in that huge abandoned house in Portugal. I very much enjoyed watching. You, dear Maureno, did again an excellent job with your beautifully formulated introduction. Some of the main rooms, like the living room and the dining room, with still intact and well preserved antique furniture, had such an expressively remarkable time capsule vibe. I loved the very high and beautifully designed ceilings. Wonderful to see was especially that room with this shrine like structure holding a crucifix and some other clearly religious artefacts, providing the whole room somehow with a sacral atmosphere. Of course I was also surprised to see in many parts of the interior a combination of old antique items and new equipment.
Wishing you all the best, peace and kindest regards from now rather rainy and cold Switzerland.

    6. 32:05 just an ornament of sorts could be maybe small shelves of sort if orientated differently. Not typical from around Portugal though. As someone already said the house was probably inhabited in different occasions by different people. Some rooms have more decay and older stuff and others look more recently left. Villager said the Dr. who lived there died 30-40 years ago (likely lawman/judge since the title of doctor in Portugal doesn't necessarily relate to medicine, just important person) and this could mean that during that time and since the house had just 20 year old newspapers someone lived there after that.

    7. A lot of Catholics still have a Last Supper print or painting hanging in the dining room and some still set an extra plate and place setting and cup for Jesus at the table. Did you notice the book on palm reading in the next to last room? I always like the combination of opposites: Catholics who are also new age enough to be interested in palm reading.
