The rumor had been persistent for several weeks, the Tour de France will start from Lille in 2025, as made official this afternoon in the salons of the Northern Prefecture. Four stages will be on the menu in the metropolis and the Hauts de France region between July 5 and 8. This will be the third Grand Départ in the northern capital after 1960 and 1994. The cobblestones of Paris-Roubaix will be carefully avoided.
