Join as we cycle a loop between Wrexham and Chester. We enjoy a coffee stop on the river and on the homeward leg we stop by to visit a member of the British nobility, a real life Duke. See just how far we got!

    1. Just started watching your videos, having spotted the first ones on your Mallorca trip. Enjoying them.👍 p.s. Wrexham is now a city. But, having lived in a village just to the south west, by about 4 miles away, I still call it a town. We live about 3 miles from what we know as the Panorama(above Llangollen). You may very well be familiar with the area. These are lanes that we(my wife and I) ride quite often, usually riding back from Holt via Ridley Wood and Cross Lanes, throgh Erddig Park and back to our village. Again, quiet, traffic wise all the way home.

    2. As your wife was commenting about passing The Grosvenor Pub, then you crossed the bridge and took the lsft hand bend, I used to go into Chester that way, but found that cars tended to pass at a higher speed. So, at the brige, I started bearing right(almost straight on) through Bruera towards Saighton, then turned left onto Sandy Lane. This road joins the road that you were on at the roundabout by the Rake and Pikel pub. A much quieter and safer route.

    3. Again, something that you may already know, that The Duke of Westminster passed away a few or more years ago. He does leave a son to take over and run the family estate and numerous properties, farms, business and land ownerships around the country.
