    Blake and Neil fancied an escape from the horrible weather of a British winter; so they packed up bikes and surfboards and headed to Portugal to ride some epic mountain bike trails, sample some of the local surf spots, and view legendary waves like Nazaré 🤘

      Trouble with surfing and Portugal over winter is the sea is facing the direction of the cold, and if you are going to fly you may as well head further south 'and/or' east.

      I started surfing 23 years ago when i was 12, took it extremely seriousley and have been a complete addict ever since, my whole life revovles around surfing. Being away from the ocean for long periods of time can make me really depressed. It is the best thing that has ever happened to me.
      The one downside that surfing has is that you are very dependant on the conditions, There aren't waves everyday, and even if there are there has to be perfect harmony between various conditions such as swell direction and height, wind direction and speed, crowd in the lineup an so on.
      And that's why, for those non surfing days i recently picked up a new passion: Mountain biking- the second best thing that happened in my life. Joined a group of highly skilled and experienced riders who pushed me to the limit since day 1 and brought me very fast to their level of riding.
      Now i feel complete, there is no such thing as a day that is wasted.

      I saw this only recently. Not only is it fun and relaxing to watch, it also is a piece of art. What great showcase of videography, astounding colour grading, fascinating camera angles and perfect switches between images to transport the story.
