This short documentary gives you in a chronological way report of my bicycle journey from the Netherlands to Budapest, Hungary. The name documentary might not totally fit the content, so if you would name it a report or short film, that would be fine too. Riding my bike with all the (heavy) equipment towards a country far away proved to be quite a challenge. But luckily not one that can’t be done. My respect goes out to those who cycled the world. Now that’s the real deal! Hope you have a fun time watching the video and feel free to comment.
(ps: the video might contain grammatical faillures, misspellings and wrong pronunciations due to the fact that English is not my first language.)

respect!!! 🙂
Thanks Rebeka 🙂
I stayed for the end :D:D <3
I really enjoyed watching this! I felt as though I got to see this part of the world in an intimate way. I recently visited Budapest, Bratislava, and Vienna, and I loved it! I rented a bike and rode for 2 days in Budapest. My dream is to do more cycling in Europe someday. Greetings to you from Delaware, USA 🙂
Great lead up into the hills with your video. I know that feeling very well when you bonk and hit the bottom…not a fun moment. However, at the end of it all we are always asking ourselves what can I do to do better next time!? Good video and I hope my trip turns out as good as yours looked 🙂  Cheers!
Haha the moment when you speak Dutch because you've lived there in Zoetermeer but you are Hungarian and live in Budapest 😀 And you love biking and travelling. What are the odds of stumbling upon this video? I guess youtube algorythms do work after all.
Thanks for sharing this awesome video 🙂 I always wanted to go on a similar trip, biking to Krakow from Budapest and back through the High Tatras. Your video is really inspirational, for me at least. Bedankt nog een keer, echt leuk 🙂 Jammer dat je geen meer foto's/video's had van Boedapest, het is een mooie stad. Hopelijk vond je het ook mooi 🙂
Well done ! Truly an experience you will remember for life. Did you log the trip on strava ?
Nice documentary, good adventure, I was a little worried about you – it's ok to travel alone, but it's much better with one or more people.. I like cycling too..
And about your last word in film – Jesus loves you, I'd like to say, I love Jesus as prophet, not as god, and I think Jesus will, in company of Muhammed, Moses, Abraham, Noa…, love me on the hereafter as brother, not as god, Â because he's human been, special, but still human..
Thanks for filming this video, and bye, bye!
Hello, I cycle around burton on Trent and surrounding areas And film then too! It would be great if you could come and watch my films on my Channel! I love your video!! And also love the soundtrack! Fantastic choice!

men that shoes is not for cycling.Do you agree with me ?
Incredible achievement, well done.
Would you do it again?
surprise surprise dutch cyclist is unprepaired for hill climbing haha
Well done, great moment of your life.
Hoi, ik geniet momenteel erg van je avontuur. Super hoe je het oppakt. Vroeg me alleen af hoe je je overnachtingen deed… ? Kun je er iets over zeggen?
Great video, humble yet inspiring. Bravo!
hoeveel km heb je gefietst in totaal?
Net je film gezien. Leuk!
Excellent video. Thank you for sharing your trip 🙂
I went through Austria to Slovakia and Hungary. Why didn't you stay on the Danube, it's perfect for cycling and no traffic?
you got to Budapest in 17 days? Me and a few friends are cycling from the hook of holland / rotterdam to budapest in June and we're giving ourselves 8 weeks to take it slow and take in some of the sights, spending the 9th week in Budapest with a few more friends who are flying out to meet us. How many miles per day did you do roughly to get there in 17 days?
