In November 2023 U.S. Airmen assigned to the 4th Fighter Wing took part in exercise Razor Talon 24-1 (RT-24-1).
One major element to this exercise, lasting over four days, involved the men and woman airmen assigned to the 4th Fighter Wing.
They took part in a detailed simulated attack involving an organised, well planned terrorist assault, resulting in mass casualties.
Through out this attack the airmen were tasked in keeping their essential air assets flying.

Then, out of nowhere… a flight of 4x USMC A-29 Super Tucano have launched from a nearby roadway in the next town over. They are spotted circling overhead with FLIR working, identifying the hidden ter'rorist positions and launching multiple salvos of switchblade-300 munitions successfully taking out the enemy echelons trying to regroup and flee.
2000lb x2 Yikes. I feel like they'd go a bit smaller in a suburban neighborhood.
